Learning verses in my heart that make me sing, Of a coming time of joy above all things, Where life is fresher than a mountain spring, looking for the way.
When you found me on that mountain, I was living in the valley of my pride, Following my own ways, and then you showed me that You were saving the best of all, for a moment that would last my whole life. And the simple truth you taught me, was really not that simple at all Coming out of the darkness, waiting for my knees to fall, before your throne.
Reaching out just as far as reaching in, touching heaven being freed from my old sin, Living out in ways it never could have been, finding the way. Letting go just as much as holding on, sharing love with one above all wrong, Knowing life will always keep on keeping on, finding the way.
